On Saturday, February 21, we’re opening the doors to Tansy House — twice.
Resident Vinyl will host an official morning listening event for Mitski’s new album NOTHING’S ABOUT TO HAPPEN TO ME ahead of its February 27 release.
To preserve the quiet, seated nature of this experience, we’ve split the event into two intimate morning seatings.
Session 1
Doors: 9:00AM
Listening begins: 10:00AM sharp
Session 2
Doors: 11:15AM
Listening begins: 11:30AM sharp
This is not a standing-room listening party. It’s a creative, reflective morning session.
Guests are encouraged to bring pens, stickers, or small crafting supplies. Each attendee will receive official Tansy House letterhead to write, doodle, scrapbook, or reflect as the album plays in full.
Afterward, pages will be attached to our in-store “Desk of Mitski” poster, forming a collaborative art piece inspired by the album’s world.

One attendee will win a sealed Tansy House test pressing via raffle (pickup on street date).
