Arankai's debut album, A Portrait of Red, delivers a blistering blend of alternative metal & rock driven by unapologetically raw storytelling. The record navigates themes of betrayal, addiction, and vengeance with visceral anger, making tracks like "The Serpent" and "Rome" feel like authentic, hard-won declarations of survival rather than polished anthems. Ultimately, it is a heavy, lived-in, and emotionally gripping release that succeeds precisely because its rage is so specific and deeply personal.
