Mike D is releasing his debut solo album, THANK YOU, on Friday, August 28, and we’re celebrating with a record release party at Resident Vinyl that evening at 6 PM.
The album marks the first full-length release of new music from a member of the Beastie Boys since 2011. What began as a series of experimental sessions in Mike D’s home studio grew into 13 tracks of post-electronic grooves, hypnotic hooks and his unmistakable voice.
We’ll play THANK YOU in full and have the album available on CD, clear vinyl and a limited-edition purple vinyl Party Variant available exclusively at participating release events. The purple vinyl cannot be held or pre-ordered and will be available at the party while supplies last.
There will also be giveaways for attendees, gifts with purchase and a grand prize drawing at the end of the event. No purchase is required to enter the drawing, but the winner must be present.
