Thank you for shopping with us. Resident Vinyl has a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, sealed, unopened and unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return confirmation number, as well as instructions on where to send your package. All return shipping costs must be paid by the customer and items sent back to us without a return confirmation number will not be accepted.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, you will receive store credit for the original sale price.
Returns can also be dropped off at our location in Downtown Santa Ana during store hours (Tue-Sat. 12pm-5pm).
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please include a picture or video of the damage.
You must notify us within 2 days of receiving the order. Damaged items can only be exchanged for the same item, as long as we have it available. If item is not available, customer will have the option to receive a refund or store credit.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, these items include: all used vinyl, limited-edition products (such as colored vinyl and signed posters). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
