Welcome to Resident Vinyl. By accessing or placing an order through our website, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. GENERAL

Resident Vinyl is an independent record store based in California. By visiting our site or purchasing from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by these Terms, including any additional terms, policies, and conditions referenced here or available within our website. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. PRODUCTS AND AVAILABILITY

All products are offered while supplies last. Certain titles, limited editions, and exclusive pressings may have purchase limits to ensure fair access.
We reserve the right to:

  • Cancel or limit quantities per customer, household, or order.

  • Refuse or cancel any order suspected of resale, bulk purchasing, or fraudulent activity.

  • Adjust or correct product information, pricing, or descriptions if errors occur.

Some items may ship directly from our suppliers or distribution partners. Delivery times may vary.

3. VINYL COLOR VARIANTS

Suppliers and manufacturers sometimes change vinyl color variants, pressing colors, or packaging details without notifying retailers. Because these changes are outside our control, vinyl color may differ from images or descriptions shown on our website. These differences do not qualify as defects, and orders may be fulfilled with the closest available version when substitutions occur.

4. PAYMENT AND BILLING

All transactions are processed securely through approved payment gateways on our website. We reserve the right to refuse any order placed with false, unverifiable, or mismatched billing information.

5. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Once an order has shipped and tracking information is provided, responsibility for delivery transfers to the customer. Resident Vinyl is not responsible for packages marked “Delivered” by the carrier or for items lost due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided at checkout. Customers must contact us within 7 days of the marked delivery date for assistance with delivery issues.

6. RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

Returns are subject to our Return & Refund Policy.
Eligible returns are issued as store credit only.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Orders of more than two copies per title are considered final sale.

7. RESALE AND PURCHASE LIMITS

Purchases made through our website are intended for personal use only. Resale, redistribution, or bulk purchasing of our products is not permitted without prior written approval. We may cancel orders that violate this policy and restrict future purchases from such accounts.

8. ERRORS, OMISSIONS, AND PRICING

We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of information on our site. In the event of typographical errors, pricing mistakes, or inaccuracies, we reserve the right to correct the issue and cancel or modify affected orders.
