Atmosphere - God Loves Ugly (LP)

Vinyl LP pressing. Atmosphere's third official studio album, the acclaimed God Loves Ugly, has been repackaged for reissue, but it stays as ugly as ever. First released in 2002, it cemented Slug and Ant's place in independent hip-hop and put them at the front of what became emo-rap. Slug weaves stories of sorrow, frustration and forgiveness over Ant's melancholy melodies, bone-cracking snares and taut bass lines. With catalog favorites like "F*@k You Lucy," "GodLovesUgly," "Lovelife," "Modern Man's Hustle" and "Shrapnel," it's a lesson in processing pain without becoming a victim to it.
